Flat Roof Repair in North London

This project involved a tired flat roof that had started to show the usual signs of age, including vulnerable joints, uneven weathering, and areas where water could sit after rain. We began with a close inspection of the existing surface, perimeter details, and adjoining flashing so we could confirm what could be retained and what needed to be renewed. Once the roof had been prepared, defective sections were stripped back, the base was made sound, and the surface was readied for a new overlay system designed to deliver a cleaner, longer-lasting waterproof finish. Particular attention was given to edges, corners, and transitions where flat roofs most often fail.

After the preparation stage, we installed the new felt system with fresh detailing around upstands and penetrations, then upgraded the flashing to improve the seal where the flat roof met the surrounding structure. The final stage was all about finish and reliability: checking falls, making sure water would discharge correctly, sealing exposed junctions, and leaving the roof tidy and fully weatherproof. The completed job gave the property a much stronger defensive layer against future leaks while also improving the overall appearance of the roofline.
